He married Albertina Schliewe. Albertina was born in Danzig, Germany May 17, 1880. She was the daughter of Herman Schliewe and Unsure Hellendrung. Albertina died Aug 9, 1964 in Milwaukee, at 84 years of age.

Max R. Nehring and Albertina Schliewe had the following children:

2 i. Raymond² Nehring was born in Oconomowac Jan 8, 1902.

+ 3 ii. Max Nehring was born Jan 1, 1903.

4 iii. Viola Nehring was born in Oconomowac April 2, 1904. She married Ed marquardt. (See Ed marquardt for the continuation of this line.)
